The Government sponsored Onam Week Celebrations drew to a close at Thiruvananthapuram on Saturday, August 28, 2010, with a Colorful Pageantry.
More than 100s of floats were exhibited by various Central/ state Government departments/ Institutions, local bodies, PSUs where lent color to the prestigious cultural show at state capital. The float of KMML highlighted the artistic visual of spreading splendor; falling of black gold that tuned in to glorious colors shading the ‘Athapookalm’.
Thousands of people from all over the state and foreign tourists lined either side of the main thoroughfare from Vellayambalam to East fort.
